is pleased to announce its

Third Biennial Training Seminar

University of Loughborough

Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd April 2006

The Venue
Having outgrown our previous venue in Birmingham, we are holding this year's
event in the purpose-built conference centre at Loughborough University. The
facity offers:

* raked lecture rooms with large screen video projection
* a better venue than Birmingham 2004 - more space overall
* a much expanded trade fair, and all in one large exhibition space
* meals and accommodation within east walking distance
* excellent road, rail and air links

We have planned a varied programme of excellent presenters, who will be
showing a wide range of tachniques and structures, both traditional and

* Bob Hamer - Making basic bookbinding equipment
* Adam Larsson (Sweden) - Medieval stiff-spines limp vellum binding
* Stephen Conway - Traditional quarter-leather drop-back box
* Luigi Castiglioni (Italy) - Integrated mosaic: a leather decoration
* Tracey Rowledge - Tooling images in gold leaf: a contemporary approach
* Michael Burke - Wooden-boarded Ethiopian binding
* Rachel Ward-Sale - Impressed leather techniques
* Cathy Abbott - Contemporary limp paper binding

Price held at £155: covers all sessions, meals and one night¹s*
