Re: [BKARTS] homemade sewing frame / binding with nails

Angelique,

The EvilRooster Bookweb has useful information on making your own equipment, including a homemade sewing frame. See http://bookweb.sunpig.com/equipment/sewframe.htm. Good luck with your frame making!

Subject: [BKARTS] homemade sewing frame / binding with nails

Hello,

Does anyone know of any inexpensive ideas for putting a homemade sewing
frame together? Or, books that clearly illustrate construction of one?

Also, I read briefly somewhere of a technique using flat head nails to bind
a book block of loose sheets. Has anyone done this? Pros/cons of using
nails?

Thanks in advance for any helpful tips.

Best,

Angelique Sipos
