[BKARTS] Book Arts Jam 2006 Application Available



Below is the Call for Entries for this year's Book
Arts Jam at Foothill College in Los Altos, CA. Please
let me know if you have any questions.

Applications are now being accepted for individual
artist/exhibitor tables for the Fifth Annual Book Arts
Jam at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California
on October 14, 2006, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Acceptable media
include artist's books, limited edition handmade
books, zines, letterpress books and broadsides,
multiples in any media, fine art prints, mail art and
calligraphy. Artist may show and/or sell his or her
work, and MUST be present the day of the show. We take
the following into consideration in selecting
exhibitors: the date the application was received, the
quality of craftsmanship, originality of ideas/design,
and educational content, which could include
demonstrations, handouts, make and takes, or
informational displays ? anything that will help
educate visitors about the book arts. The show
features more than 50 artist exhibitors each year and
generally attracts more than 600 visitors. The $30
application fee is refundable to those not accepted.
Deadline for entries is June 30, 2006. Download an
