Asheville BookWorks is thrilled to host an exhibition of prints by our Knoxville, TN, neighbors and letterpress aficionados, Yee-Haw Industries. 

On Friday, June 9th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Asheville BookWorks will host Yee-Haw Industries for an Exhibition Reception. The event will be an opportunity to view the impressive collection of Yee-Haw's work on display at BookWorks and meet with the artists and printmakers who make it all happen. Music and refreshments will be on-hand for the celebration. The Yee-Haw Industries Exhibition opened at BookWorks on Saturday, May 13th and will close on Sunday, July 9th.

Yee-Haw is a working letterpress print shop, graphic design and artist studio, founded by Julie Belcher and Kevin Bradley in 1996. Yee-Haw specializes in original art-like products - from letterpress posters promoting special events, music acts and theatre shows, to handmade, woodcut, fine art prints. Their work is custom-to-order, designed, set, and pressed by hand. Yee-Haw's client list is vast and varied, ranging from the Asheville Art Museum and Chicago Poetry Center to Nylon Magazine and MTV2. Asheville BookWorks is a book arts learning center serving the community of Asheville and beyond. BookWorks offers a full spectrum of hands-on workshops, including bookbinding, printmaking, typesetting, papermaking and letterpress printing.
