Appearing in the July issue
of Tangodanza Magazine
from the novel
by Alice Simpson

BALLROOM began as a unique artist book <www.alicesimpson.com/books/
books.html> balanced on wooden feet, with pages of caricatured hand painted
couples dancing the tango. The artist book included short stories about
fictional dancers at a New York ballroom., which have become characters in the
novel. A chapter from BALLROOM was published in NY Writer's Voice Magazine
and nominated for Best New American Voices.

Following an award winning career as a graphic designer and illustrator,
specializing in fashion and beauty, Alice Simpson is creating hand painted artist
books and sculptures with dance themes, which are in public and private
international collections.

Tangodanza <www.tangodanza.de> is a quarterly magazine published in
Germany for tango aficionados and has established a fine reputation worldwide
during the last 7-8 years. Its high quality design and content make it unique in
the world.
