Tyvek (the unprinted type, of course) is an excellent, non-reactive, non-degrading product. It gets used in museums all the time for covering, wrapping and padding out artifacts, as well as in treatments.

Short of buying envelopes and cutting them up, or getting a big roll of it at Home Depot, where does one buy some?


I had a look at their website, but they don't list retail shops where one can buy just a few sheets....
