Re: [BKARTS] Watercolor paper hinges

Tyvek might take the place of the Japanese paper I suggested, but I don't
think you can sand it, so it would remain on top of the paper, and not
disappear into the surface of the water color paper.

One more note on the Japanese poaper hinge: you want to sand the w/c paper
the same thickness you will add with the Japanese paper so that the width of
the foredege remains the same as the sewing fold. This can have an effect
on what kind of Japanese paper you choose, in other wrods, how thick.

How about mounting two layers of the paper together
with a layer of good cloth or other hinging material
(such as good ole Tyvek!) sandwiched at each fold??
Seems that a narrow enough hinge would be subtle
enough to blend in with the paper.

Good luck!
