Try www.mueller-buch.de He sells reproductions of antique buchenshlage (metal bits for books).

Japanese art suppliers such as Aiko's in Chicago carry the little bone fasteners than go into loops. I think Talas has them too.

Another good place to try is eBay, if you don't mind stripping the hardware from an antique photo album or bible. There's also an occasional dealer in simple metal corners like those found on menus and journals.
