[BKARTS] 2 great books on sale: Betty Bright and Barbara Tetenbaum

Betty Bright, author of NO LONGER INNOCENT: BOOK ART IN AMERICA,
1960-1980 (Granary Books, 2005), gave a lively talk to a receptive
audience here in Portland (OR) last Saturday. Her book is an important
critical work, the first history to trace the emergence of artists'
books in the United States during the 1960s and 1970s. This is truly a
significant book that is also a pleasure to read.

Our Friends of the Library store has several copies left over from her
talk. They are offering a 10% discount off of the $39.95 list price if
you mention Book Arts-L, for $35.96 (plus shipping).

The store also has only 4 copies left of the wonderfully designed
exhibition catalogue that accompanied the recent retrospective of
Barbara Tetenbaum that I curated here last year (a catalogue which Betty
Bright identified on Saturday as one of the best book arts catalogs she
has ever seen).

It is formally known as HALF-LIFE: 25 YEAR OF BOOKS BY BARBARA TETENBAUM
& TRIANGULAR PRESS and it is $40.00 list price, but also available here
with the 10% discount by mentioning Book Arts-L, for $36.00 (plus
shipping).
