Re: [BKARTS] ownership marking of books

Friends, I've been through this before, but the subject has again come up that rare books should be marked with property stamps, specifically LC stamp ink on a balsa wood block. RBMS seems to support this practice. Do any of you have any practical experience with the LC stamping system, or any other property stamp systems that you would like to share with me or the group? I'm also interested in what practical experiences you may know about regarding any marking system and its relation to deterring theft of books and archives. Thanks, Mindy
