In the past week I remember seeing a CBC news story about the
Vancouver public Library having all sorts of trouble with their
Chinese holdings.  Apparently the culprits have a particular fondness
for cookbooks and will often switch the bar codes with other Chinese
material naturally most of the librarians don't notice.  They set up a
display showing some of the damage returns trying to explain why it
was wrong.  The books disappeared quickly.
