Fee:  $270.00

Materials fee:  $25.00 (paid to the instructor)

 

Explore composition and the creation of a personal visual vocabulary in
this hands-on workshop. Enjoy new opportunities for spontaneity as you
learn how to eliminate liquid adhesives from the collage-assembly
process. Other subjects to be covered include Getting Started, Accessing
Our Creative Energies, Paperless Transfer of Printed and Photocopied
Materials, Presentation and Framing of Finished Works and much more. 

 

Works by Jonathan Talbot have been exhibited at The National Academy and
The Museum of Modern Art in New York, have represented the U.S overseas
in 

exhibitions sponsored by the State Department and the Smithsonian
Institution. His work is also included in museum collections in the U.S.
and Europe. In 2001 Talbot was awarded a career achievement medal at the
Florence Biennial in Italy. He maintains his studio in Warwick and has
written two books; Collage: A New Approach and The Artist's Marketing

Katie Dell Kaufman is an award-winning collage and assemblage artist.
She has exhibited her work in solo exhibitions at the Fraser Gallery in
Washington, D.C. and in group shows locally and nationally. Kaufman
teaches collage and assemblage at the Corcoran College of Art and Design
where she is a faculty member. Visit her website at
