[BKARTS] Making cover for 26x38" book

I had the opportunity to create portfolio covers for disbound and encapsulated elephant-folio Audubon prints for the University of Chicago in 1995. Each portfolio was to contain 10 prints. I needed light, dimensionally stable boards around this same size for the job. After much experimentation, I found that a laminate of two sheets (NOT cross-grain) of LBS acid-free pamphlet board using PVA provided an excellent solution. These board were covered on one side with starch-filled buckram and lined on the other side with .10 pt acid-free map folder stock. We were all pleased with the result.
