Subject: Book Binding/Book Art - Berrington Hall

Hello

We are a National Trust (Europe's leading conservation charity) property in Herefordshire, England, and we are holding a second-hand book fair on 24 & 25 March to help raise money for valuable conservation work here at Berrington to continue. We have a small library in the 18th Century neo-classical mansion and hope to bring attention to the beauty and work which is contained within books from such periods.

We are looking for a local Book Binder and/or Book Art specialist to come along to our fair and perhaps demonstrate their work - this would hopefully take the form of an ongoing display where visitors were able to come along and watch for a while and wander away whenever they choose to. The fair would be between 11am and 4pm.

As we are a charity we do not have a budget for such events and all must be produced by staff and volunteers - so we would therefore ask that anyone demonstrating their work do so on a voluntary basis, and of course benefiting from any business they may incur as a result of the fair.

Do you know of anyone local we may call upon to help us? In any case we look forward to hearing from you.
