Re: [BKARTS] Always Complaining...WHY?

She is so right about the nits. They are the eggs of head lice which are fascinating creatures and much in the science news these days as they've developed resistance to all treatment other than... PICKING. True.

Please forgive me. I've not slept in days.

I read and digest all emails on this listserve every day (almost), with the

(Always with attribution.) We are a serious group of craftsmen, and I
screen emails carefully: workshops in Maine, Boston, South Carolina, etc.,
are not of usual interest to our members; the discussion of techinique and
supplies are of great interest to our group. We're not an "elite" group,
just serious members of a respected and important craft. I devote a great
deal of time each day to this activity. I have the time available and wish
to add to my own and the knowledge of my colleagues. Silly me.

Others read this listserve for other reasons. For several years, there has
been discussion of stating the location of activities in the Subject line.
The reason is that persons far afield of these locations may choose to
delete the emails based on location.

Hand Bookbinders of California is a 35 year old organization devoted to the
book arts, especially the traditional binding techniques of Western Europe
and the Orient. We welcome anybody who is interested in anything about the
worth and making of books.

"so we know to skip it if not relevant."

Sorry again,

But, maybe it's just the way Signa said it. (see above)
Relevant to who...?, just her and
some elite group (who's the WE).

I enjoy veiwing all the lists, except the "Knit-Picky" ones.

Oh sure, attack anyone disagreeing you. I have nothing to get over.
Agree, disagree, I don't care. You're the one complaining, obviously,
you need to get over it. Did anyone say it was a big deal? What's that
got to do with anything. Small conveniences make everything go smoother.
It's just a polite convention to help your readers by not wasting their
time.

Please remember to put the location in the Subject line so we know
to skip
it if not relevant.

Thank you.
