Re: [BKARTS] Places to research artists' books in SF

Start at The San Francisco Public Library. I spent an entire afternoon
looking at the handmade books in Richard Harrison Collection of
Calligraphy and Lettering in The Marjorie G. and Carl W. Stern Book Arts
and Special Collections Center there. Barely scratched the surface, and
never even got to the broadsides. Here's a link to a description:

Then there's the San Francisco Center for the Book.

Subject: [BKARTS] Places to research artists' books in SF

Hi everyone,
I am headed to San Francisco and need to do some research on artists'
books, particularly those tying into photography and going back as far
in time as possible. Can anyone point me to collections that would be
good to see? I'd be especially grateful for info on who I would make an
appointment with, that could be sent off the list...
Thank you!
