Re: [BKARTS] problems with new digest

Hello all,
I'm sorry this change is still problematic for some. So far I have heard about the problem described below from some, all Mac users. Note, I'm using Eudora and Outlook, both on Windows. The same digest received by me contained all the text in the digest and clicking on the links would take me to that part of the message. The entire text contained in the digest should be there. From messages received off-list I see that is not the case, but I can't explain it. There should be no difference in the digests and I can't explain this problem. I suspect that the problem is more in how your mail software handles the digests than in the digest. Please check your options and settings. The only other suggestion I can offer is to go back to the regular digest form by sending:

set book_arts-l mail digest

to listserv@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Frustratedly yours,

Subject: [BKARTS] problems with new digest

hi all---- I just set my bookarts subscription to digest, to get the html listing with links to each message, organized by thread. the digest message cones, and looks completely organized--- what appear to be live links to every message---unfortunately i can't open any of the links. i'm on a mac using safari and mac mail---- anyone using those successfully or have any ideas about why i can't open them? i get an error message saying "Mail was unable to open the URL “cid:-13@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx”;. No associated application could be found." that's unusual---- mac mail can usually open anything.

any ideas?
