[BKARTS] Fore-edge painter in Michigan



Fore-edge painter Martin Frost will be giving a public presentation at the Library of Michigan in Lansing, Michigan on Friday, March 23. There will be a reception beginning at 4:30 with Frost's presentation at 5:30.

Frost, www.foredgefrost.co.uk , will offer an illustrated lecture describing the origin and progress of fore-edge painting, supported by a display of painted books from his own collection.

Also on display will be some examples of fore-edge paintings from the Library of Michigan's collection, as well as examples of Michigan book arts from early miniature books printed on birch bark to modern artists books.
