Re: [BKARTS] c&p tabletop press

I don't know if my anecdotal experience is helpful, but the bushings on the rollers can wear, causing a mis-inked form. That happened on my c&p. I actually solved the problem temporarily by building them up with bits of masking tape. I had been overcompensating with platen adjustments prior to that with poor results.

Are you printing a linoleum, wood block or anything like that, or are you
working with cuts and type? I often use a plastic grocery bag or masking
tape depending on how off the impression is... Actually, though, if packing
and bolt adjustments aren't working you might first make sure that
everything is type-high, or .918"... You might also try querying the
LetPress list.

Good Luck!
