When I was taking a class at Cone Editions Press (Inkjet Mall) in Vermont, they recommended the following:
Take out the ink cartridges.
Take the tube off the spray head on a Windex bottle.
Use the straw from the spray head, and with your finger over one end, release some of the Windex into the chamber where the ink cartridges go.


Letting the Windex soak in the print chambers should unclog the print head.

You might try putting some alcohol in a saucer and placing the cartridge opening so that it rests in the solution for 10-20 min. Lightly dry it and then run the head cleaning protocol.
