The show runs from May 26th - July 7, 2007.
The Action/Interaction: Book/Arts Exhibition is an invitational, juried
exhibition which will showcase exemplary work from book arts programs and
centers across the country and oversees in order to provide a survey of the
current activity in the field and to highlight the different
characteristics, missions, and philosophies of various programs and centers.
The exhibition will be held in two galleries, The Center for Book and Paper
Arts Gallery and downstairs in the Glass Curtain Gallery, and will be
documented in a catalog to be published in 2008. An underlying philosophy of
the exhibition is the importance of providing access to the works being
exhibited and special reading stands have been commissioned to provide
access to the works.
