Re: [BKARTS] European handwriting font

From what period, what region. There is incredible variety.

One font that comes to mind is Volgare, a sample of which that can be seen at <http://www.altx.com/EBR/ads/ebr6/farrell/page3.htm>. I believe to remember that it's based on 16th/17th century Ventian script... Could be wrong though.

There's an order form at <http://www.fontfactory.com/collections_info.php/collections_id/264?sid=14c4be8e3f296e4df9ec58df0fe4479e>.

There's also the German Sütterlinschrift that was used in the first half of the last century. My grandfather used it in his war diaries and while it took me forever to be able to figure it out, I managed. That can be downloaded at <http://mki.wisc.edu/Resources/Suetterlin/sutterl.html>. More info at <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%BCtterlin>.

Then there are things like http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/solotype/behrens-schrift/, http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/hihretrofonts/augsburger-schrift/, http://www.textkritik.de/technik/stefan_george_schrift_engl.htm, http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/nicksfonts/bayern-handschrift-nf/, http://www.fontparade.com/index.php?page=theme&cat=32&site=4, ...
