[BKARTS] Lifting Knives

Make your own by cutting a small, blunt hacksaw blade into two, using a bolt cutter and wearing safety goggles. Cut at 45 degrees and sharpen one to the left, the other to the right. Round the point slightly and you have tools to get into most tight places. Hone frequently. Wrap the handle with book cloth or leather or grind the teeth off if you have a grinder.

Methyl cellulose dissolved in rubbing alcohol (isopropanol) about 2% weight per volume will make a useful glue softener. Since it has a low water content it is less likely to darken leather. This is very similar to Klucel.
