[BKARTS] VICTORIAN PUZZLE PURSE (c.1790)

In celebration of Valentine's Day, Origami Resource Center has
an interesting article and instructions for making
a Victorian Puzzle Purse.

purses.html

Included in the article is my Valentine 2005, based on this 1790
design, which was featured in Bound & Lettered Magazine.

These multi-folded pieces were the rage in the 18th and 19th
century. Collectors value this type of Victorian tradition and an
authentic puzzle purse dating back to 1782 was recently sold on
ebay for almost $1700. [I need only wait two hundred twenty-
three years!]
