at Florida Atlantic University's Wimberly Library

with Chicago book and installation artist Karen Hanmer
Friday, February 22, 2008 at 4:00 PM

Join us on Friday, February 22 at 4:00 PM for a gallery talk with Chicago artist Karen Hanmer. Karen will present "Book Arts Road Trip: A Survey of Contemporary Book Arts," and talk a bit about her own work, too, which is engaging, insightful, and thought-provoking. She is quirky and delightful... who better to take a road trip with?

This free event is open to the public and will take place at the gallery inside the Jaffe Center for Book Arts, in the midst of our current exhibition "RETRO TECH: Artists' Books & Bindings by Karen Hanmer." All are welcome!

Be sure to factor in some extra time for parking (although Friday afternoons are not bad, really, when it comes to parking here). Visitors may park at any metered space (bring quarters) or pull into the Information Booth upon entering the FAU campus at the main entrance on Glades Road for a one-day parking hangtag.
