The 3D Artists' Book with instructor Maddy Rosenberg

Jaffe Center for Book Arts, Book Studio 350C
Class Limit: 12. All levels.

In this evening workshop, we'll explore ways to leap from the flat page to a 3D environment using simple constructions.

General Public: $59 (includes materials)
FAU Students (with proof of current registration): $36 (includes materials)

Maddy Rosenberg divides her time between New York City and Europe, where she maintains an active international exhibition and curatorial career. She is an artist who works in several media: oil painting, drawing, artists' books, printmaking, and installation. The solo exhibition "Uncharted Terrains: The Artists' Books of Maddy Rosenberg" is presently at the Brooklyn Public Library, Grand Army Plaza until April 19th.

Numerous group exhibitions include the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Philadelphia Athenaeum, Cheryl McGinnis Gallery, The Center for Book Arts, Hebrew Union College Museum, Flux Factory, Kentler International Drawing Space, and Fish Tank Gallery in New York City; Sanzspace in Madrid, Spain; Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, France; Schloss Neuhaus in Salzburg, Austria; and Off-Centre Gallery in Bristol, England.

Rosenberg is also currently a curator at Proteus Gowanus, an interdisciplinary space in Brooklyn. She received a National Endowment for the Arts grant for her independent curatorial project, New York/Paris DIALOGUE Paris New York, in 2005. Public collections include MoMA, Brooklyn Museum, Tate Gallery, Fogg Museum, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Victoria and Albert Museum, Salzburg Museum Carolina Augusteum, and Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
