[BKARTS] Marjorie Coffey has died



PaperWorks, the Sonoran Collective for Paper and Book Artists, Tucson Az. has learned of the death of member and well known book artist Marjorie Coffey.  
COFFEY, Marjorie, Strode, age 86, died at her home in Gainesville FL on March 3, 2008, of a massive stroke in her sleep. A talented artist and writer, she created miniature books, paintings, sculpture, jewelry, and church vestments. She had a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and a Masters of Fine Arts from Syracuse University. She has donated her manuscripts, books and art work to the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida. She is survived by three children, John P Coffey of Washington DC, Catherine E. Coffey of Coraopolis PA, and Judith C. Russell of Gainesville, and three grandchildren, J. Christopher Russell of Gainesville, Michael G. Russell of Covelo CA and Catherine E. Russell of Burbank CA.
