[BKARTS] Update to public lectures at the Grolier Club, Spring and Summer 2008

As part of its mission to foster wider appreciation of books and prints, this spring the Grolier Club continues to open its lectures and other events to the book-loving public. The updated schedule for Spring/Summer 2008 is as follows:

* March 26 -- American Printing History Association Lecture: John Ross on "Romano & Ross: 60 years of Art and the Tipoteca Italiana," recounting a decade of collaboration with Tipoteca Italiana in Cornuda, Italy. 6 pm. Reception follows. Co-sponsored by the New York chapter of the American Printing History Association.
* April 1 -- Lecture: Margaret Stetz and Mark Samuels Lasner will speak about the exhibition Facing the Late Victorians: Portraits of Writers and Artists from the Mark Samuels Lasner Collection. 6 pm, reception follows.
* April 8 -- Lecture: Alan Fern will speak on British portraiture, in connection with the exhibition Facing the Late Victorians: Portraits of Writers and Artists from the Mark Samuels Lasner Collection. 6 pm, reception follows.
* April 17 -- American Printing History Association J. Ben Lieberman Memorial Lecture: Sue Allen on A Doubly Fascinating Book: Hawthorne's Wonder Book Illustrated by Walter Crane. 6 pm, reception follows.
* May 19 -- Society of Scribes Lecture: Details TBA.
* May 20 -- Third Annual Bernard H. Breslauer Lecture in Bibliography: David Alan Richards on his forthcoming Kipling bibliography. 6 pm. Reception follows. Co-sponsored by the American Trust for the British Library. No charge for ATBL or Grolier Club members; non-members $25.00.
* May 29 -- American Printing History Association Lecture: Gordon Bond on "James Parker (1714-1770): A New Jersey Printer on the Eve of Revolution." 6 pm. Reception and book signing to follow. Co-sponsored by the New York chapter of the American Printing History Association.
