[BKARTS] Photos of Sue Allen's Lieberman Lecture NYC 3/17/2008

[Please excuse cross-posting. pwr]

For those interested, photos from Sue Allen's Lieberman Memorial Lecture held at the Grolier Club on April 17 have been posted here:

One of the great surprises and delights of the evening was the presence of Charles Rheault, the man who gave Sue Allen the stamping brasses from the Riverside Press. Mr. Rheault spoke briefly about saving those artifacts and about Ms. Allen's talk in Boston, which prompted his giving them to her. Mr. Rheault's gift proved the genesis of Ms. Allen's research resulting in her lecture, "A Doubly Fascinating Book: Hawthorne's Wonder Book Illustrated by Walter Crane." There are some photographs of the brasses and the finished book.
