Re: [BKARTS] The Espress Book Machine

Anyone who gets a chance to come up here to the University of Alberta, pop into the University Bookstore. We've got an Espresso there, in use in full public view, four books every seven minutes, perfect bound with full colour cover, minimum print run of... get this... one copy.

They've offered a discount to members of the Book Publishers Association of Alberta to use it. One member, the Spotted Cow Press, used it for a poetry collection they published. The book launch was held at the U of A Bookstore with no copies of the book printed, at least at the start of the event. They hit the start button and seven minutes later the poet was signing copies, literally hot off the presses!
