Mark your calendar! Join us for Book Arts Jam 2008, a one-day celebration of
the book and print arts, co-sponsored by the Bay Area Book Artists (BABA)
and Foothill College. This year?s event features an exhibition of artists?
books with talks by exhibiting artists; an exhibition of books by children;
hands-on demonstrations throughout the day; an exhibitors? showcase with
work by more than 40 artists and craftspeople; a slideshow of recent work by
exhibitors and BABA members; a participatory "great wall of poetry;" and
much more.

Free admission, parking $2.

The Book Arts Jam is funded in part by a grant from Arts Council Silicon
Valley, in partnership with the County of Santa Clara and the National
Endowment for the Arts, and is co-sponsored by the Bay Area Book Artists and
Foothill College, Los Altos Hills, California. The Book Arts Jam has grown
since the first event in 2002. In October 2007, the Book Arts Jam hosted
more than 700 visitors. We welcome visitors who are new to the book arts, as
well as students and experienced practitioners. Come early and see it all!
