STAMPEDE: Rubber Stamp Carving and Its Multiple Applications with instructor Maddy Rosenberg

It’s fast and easy to carve and print rubberstamps in one color or ten, whether you are a novice or a professional. Learn the basics of relief carving into a soft surface, a printmaking medium that can be done anywhere with few tools. Explore the diverse ways of printing stamps with ease. This workshop teaches both printmaking and book arts skills. In the morning, participants will concentrate on the creation and printing of their own stamps. Then in the afternoon, these printed papers will become a handmade accordion book, learned through step-by-step instructions.
