Re: [BKARTS] antiquing leather?

Dear Bill,

We published an article by Terry Buckley in the Spring 1997 edition of Skin Deep at http://www.hewit.com/sd3-buck.htm. It specifically mentions Cambridge Panels, so hope it is of some help.

kind regards,

Subject: antiquing leather?

Greetings all,
Can anyone suggest techniques for giving leather an artificial patina of age? It is for a binding of modern calf, hand dyed to a blackish brown with Fiebings, accomplished in an early 17th c Cambridge style.

Thanks and svbeev

Bill Cotter
