Re: [BKARTS] Gauze... I'm stupid????

Or, alternatively these using velcro and developed by William Minter. There's a short article in The Bonefolder at <http://www.philobiblon.com/bonefolder/vol2no1contents.htm>. Any of these ideas (Dennis' and Bill's) are great, especially when re-adhering original spines..., or even new leather, but are getting fairly far afield from the original query concerning gauze for spine linings

For more info on gauze, mull, crash, super, muslin, aero-linen, and others cloths, there's also the article on "An Overview of Fibers, Yarns, and Textiles for the Book Artist" by Amanda Thompson and Anna Embree in the current issue of The Bonefolder at <http://www.philobiblon.com/bonefolder/vol5no1contents.htm>. The article does a great job describing these materials.
