Just remember to do it in a finishing press with nails on the side or similar. Note, this will define the cords much more crisply than the Ace Bandage or Velcro. Also neither option precludes the use of band sticks <http://jeffpeachey.wordpress.com/knife-catalog/>, about 2//3rds down, or band nippers <http://apps.webcreate.com/ecom/catalog/product_specific.cfm?ClientID=15&ProductID=23931>. The more tools one has the better, especially if they're good.

What a neat idea. I am doing a lot of raised bands recently, and these suggestions are really helpful.
