Re: [BKARTS] CBAA stories, etc.

I wrote two (by no means comprehensive) posts:
http://blog.whitneyannetrettien.com/2009/01/cbaa-conference-woodcut-novels-images.html
http://blog.whitneyannetrettien.com/2009/01/cbaa-conference-telegraph-codes-1930s.html

And a short article that uses the conference to discuss media studies and book history:
http://cms.mit.edu/news/features/2009/01/media_studies_and_the_history.php

I have notes on other talks and the exhibits that I keep meaning to post, but probably won't get around to it anytime soon. I'm coming from a different angle than most on the list, so I'd love to see what others have written.

I have been waiting for some reports, stories, or observations from people who
attended the first CBAA convention in Iowa City at the University of Iowa's
Center for the Book a few weeks ago. Can anyone give us some notes on this?
