[BKARTS] Historic Binding and Endband Models

Was recently made (again) aware of the some really good resources for
historic binding and endband models. The first is the online version of the
University of Iowa Library's collection at
<http://digital.lib.uiowa.edu/cdm4/index_binding.php?CISOROOT=/binding>.

The second is an online collection of historic endband models based
initially on one in the University of Iowa collection and extended. The link
to that is at <http://www.artesdellibro.com/bancocabezadas.php>. While the
site is in Spanish, the images speak for themselves. For those who want to
integrate the endbands into the primary sewing of the book, imagine those
tie-downs being part of the text's sewing. The fancier ones are sewn over
the primary, that first single image at
<http://www.artesdellibro.com/images/bancocabezada-%282%29.jpg>.
