Re: [BKARTS] Unopened leaves

Mr. Belanger,

I saw your Book-Arts list message, googled your name and "Tallahassee", and
now I'm kicking myself for not finding out about your lecture until after
the fact -- especially since I've been interested in the History of Text
Technology program. I hope you had a good experience my town.

Subject: [BKARTS] Unopened leaves

-- capable of trimming the leaves on one edge of the book at a single go,
not come into common use (so far as I can remember -- I am writing this from
hotel lobby in Tallahassee [and clearly with time on my hands!]) until after

the American Civil War.
