[BKARTS] SoCal APHA: Film on Gutenberg

The Southern California APHA Chapter would like to invite members and prospective members to a showing of the 2008 film on Gutenberg: The Machine That Made Us. We will meet on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at the International Printing Museum in Carson, California. The film was produced by Wavelength Films for the BBC and will eventually be shown on TV to American audiences. We have received special permission from Wavelength Films to show the movie to our APHA Chapter members. This will support our stated theme this year of investigating early printing. After the film, we will view the Gutenberg press replica at the Printing Museum and have a lively discussion of the movie.
