Re: [BKARTS] The Ideal Blank Journal

Bob,

I would be interested in journals that have sewn bindings. Most of the
journals available commercially are adhesive bound. I have only ever found
one journal that was sewn in a commercial store. In addition to sewn
bindings, I would also be interested in a journal that is lined. I have a
nice one right now that has lines on one side and is blank on the other.
This set up works great for the writing and diagramming I am doing for my
personal research. Hope this helps!

Heather

Hi, Carol.
Good question. I'm looking for input on journals to sell. Any comments on
y'all's success in selling blank journals would be welcome. I'm thinking
that inexpensive varieties are a dime a dozen, so I should create for the
mid to high end... Books that can't be made by an overseas factory.

Bob,

Are you looking for input for producing journals to sell?  Or for yourself.

I've been a journal keeper for years and have now begun keeping an art
journal as well.  And my practices for written journals have evolved.Â
Each person's need becomes very specific, and I'd like a bit more input
first.
